We are the RSPCA North West London & South Hertfordshire Branch, a local animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of animals across our community.
Every year, we help hundreds of animals in need. We care for and rehome unwanted, stray and abandoned animals, support owners who are struggling with the cost of essential veterinary treatment and provide practical help to improve animal welfare locally.
Our Branch covers Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon north of the A40, as well as Watford, Bushey, Oxhey, Rickmansworth, St Albans and Radlett. We work with local people, veterinary practices, volunteers and other organisations to make sure animals can get the help they need when they need it.
Although we are part of the wider RSPCA family, we are a separately registered local charity and are responsible for raising the money needed to fund our work in this area. The support we receive from our charity shops, fundraising activities, donations, grants and gifts left in wills makes our work possible.
That local support helps us provide veterinary care, safe accommodation and everything an animal needs while they are with us, before helping them move on to a new home. It also enables us to support local pet owners, helping animals to stay healthy, safe and cared for wherever possible.
Everything we do is made possible by the generosity of people in our local community – whether they donate, shop with us, volunteer their time, foster an animal or support one of our fundraising activities.
